Tumalo Feed Company:Steeped in Central Oregon History
At the turn of the last century, Tumalo Feed Company was a general store – a crossroads for travelers from all corners of the Pacific Northwest. It was the perfect place to take a break, kick up your boots, and enjoy a local sarsaparilla. In the mid-1950s, it became the Tumalo Emporium, featuring a full soda fountain, which can still be seen in our west dining room today.
In 1991, owners John Bushnell and Robert Holley purchased this special landmark and made it into the destination restaurant that it is today – rich with Central Oregon history with an emphasis on Northwestern hospitality. Featured in Sunset Magazine as one of the "Top Steakhouses of the Great West," the Tumalo Feed Company welcomes you and invites you for an experience of which legends are made.
